New Partners with Urban Union in Scotland

June 25, 2018

Delighted to announce new Commercial support with the Urban Union Group (Robertson Group & McTaggert Construction), I am meeting their PR people tomorrow with a view to engaging them as a professional marketing organization.

With their help we intend to offer opportunities for Major Scottish and Global Brands to sponsor the lift operation. This is a major undertaking, one where we needed assistance, however with their help we can convert current interest into firm support.

I would also like to say that considering we have got to this point in only 5 months, I am delighted with the progress achieved.

We are also aiming to start our own major global crowdfunding campaign where you can support this project both in the short term, during the repatriation but also in the long term, as we intend to offer share ownership of the 'Falls of Clyde' if there are enough of you out there, wanting to be a part of this journey and own a piece of history with a bright new future.

With major names like Ferguson Marine, Malin Group also and others, global interest continues to grow in this piece of Scottish Maritime Heritage that will become a self sustaining operation, creating jobs, trade, Education and offering a Carbon Free cargo service to and from the Clyde and across Scotland.

Glasgow Science Day

June 15, 2018

Today David attended and exhibited at the Glasgow Science Day, a very productive event. The First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, (who is already aware of our plans) took serious interest in the 'Falls of Clyde' ship rescue efforts. She was impressed with the level of progress this group has made and asked to be kept updated on progress on upcoming joint meetings with Ferguson Marine, Malin Group, Inverclyde Council and others.

David would also like to offer our sincere thanks to Urban Union Director Mr Neil McKay who was also present today, as he offered support in the form of Marketing and P.R., through their existing providers to help the campaign realize our goal to return this historic ship to Scotland. Neil praised the ethos behind offering opportunities to the youth from the community to become involved and if we succeed in rebuilding her as planned, they will have the opportunity to sail around the world, on board this glorious Clyde built survivor.

Thank you Mr. Cox

A big thank you to Scottish actor Mr Brian Cox for his guidance and introduction to the Scottish film sector. Hopefully we will be producing a short or documentary on the Tall Ship, 'Falls of Clyde', her history, current plight and our increadible vision to repatriate her to Scotland to be rebuilt and put back to sea.

Successful meeting with Graham Tate of Malin Fabrication

March 22, 2018

A huge thank you to Graham Tait of Malin Fabrication, we met today at the former Babcock site in Renfrew where I viewed their new build workboat being finished off.
We discussed Grahams proposals for the managment of the 'Falls of Clyde' when she finally arrives in Greenock, hopefully later this year.
I was impressed with the detailed drawings they have produced from our 139 year old drawing's.
Look forward to visiting the harbour in Greenock and perhaps pressing to arrange a joint meeting with Gerry Marshall (Ferguson Marine), Malin Group and Inverclyde Council and others to agree technical roles.
Opportunities are on offer for sponsors for the lift ship operation events in Hawaii and our planned mini Tall Ship escort event here on the River Clyde as the ship returns home. Global News T.V. coverage is estimated 10/100m viewers. If interested in this opportunity contact us on

Thank you to Ferguson Marine

March 19, 2018

Great meeting today, a big thank you to Gerry Marshall C.E.O. and John Morgan of Ferguson Marine. We had very constructive discussions around the 'Save Falls of Clyde International Campaign'.

Lot's of areas where we shared a common understanding of progress that has been made to date on our campaign as well as the potential benefits to Scotland, Education, Skills Training, Tourism, Fairtrade Cargo and the Enviroment.

Also got an opportunity to see the amazing progress within the yard and the changes since I was last there about 12 years back.

Well done to all concerned!
